Who created RemoteProfessionals.com?

Jodi Diehl and Angela Parker launched RemoteProfessionals.com on July 15, 2005, after many, many months of planning. Both are Past Presidents of the leading International VA organization, the IVAA, and have maintained successful outsourcing businesses for many years.

How much are membership dues?

Full Membership is $195.00 USD annually. Startup Membership is $35.00 USD annually.

What are the requirements for Full Membership?

In order to become a Full Member of RemoteProfessionals.com, you must meet the following requirements:

  • Extensive relevant work experience in a corporate, industrial or small business environment
  • Six months’ experience being self employed or a current business that is at least six months old
  • The intention to niche your services within 6-12 months of being approved for membership

I am not officially “in business” yet. Can I still join as a Startup Member?

Absolutely. We encourage individuals interested in starting a virtual assistant business to join as a Startup member.

I have employees. Can they apply for membership?

Yes. Employees of qualifying business owners may apply for membership.

What is the difference between membership levels?

There are two membership levels: Full Member and Startup Member. The benefits for each membership level can be found on the Membership Benefits Chart.

I have a mailing list membership and am now ready to join RP as a Startup/Full
Member. Do I need to create a new account?

No. You may upgrade your mailing list membership to a Startup or Full Membership. To upgrade, login to your account, click “view profile” and select the desired membership level from the upgrade form. You will then be redirected to our secured payment system. Your membership level will be updated immediately
upon receipt of payment.

Does the RP Master Designation cost more money?

No. The RP Master Designation is reserved for full members who meet the requirements and successfully complete the RP Master application.

What is the benefit of receiving RP Master Designation?

RP Masters receive preferential placement in directories/search results and on the member map, enjoy a $50.00 discount on annual membership dues and may nominate a peer for a one-year complimentary full membership with RemoteProfessionals.com.

Will I know when a new RFQ is posted?

Yes. An email notice is sent to all eligible members when a new RFQ is posted. The email will contain all of the information supplied by the client.

How do I participate in an RP event?

Upon registering for an RP teleseminar or webchat, you will receive a confirmation email containing login instructions for that event. Teleseminars require a phone line to dial in to the conference bridge. Webchats require a java-enabled web browser to access the chat room.
